<div>Hi.  This is Shana Denny, best friend and wife of Mark Denny.  A little over three months ago, Mark collapsed.  To our shock, the doctor delivered the unimaginable words that Mark has stage four lung cancer, which has metastasized to his brain.

<div>If you've known Mark, his life has been full of unconventional dreams.  Mark has always believed that possibilities are limitless and that the only thing that holds us back is ourselves.  Dream big, work hard and rely on yourself to make it happen.  He doesn't live lavishly.  Mark's life has equally brought him some very hard blows.  These blows could make most people bitter, but for Mark it has only made him more resilient and determined to press forward.

<div>Mark was preparing for the fight of his life by trying to liquidate everything he can to cover costs, but there is simply not enough time.

<div>August 14th, Mark started the grueling routines of treatments.  The time required is extensive.  Every day we prepare for the best.  We hope the treatments will prolong Mark's life by shrinking the tumors or slowing the cancer down and allowing us more time together.  We have hope.

<div>Mark is my best friend.  He is my husband.  I am his caregiver.  This diagnosis and the quick progression has left me in complete disbelief.  My head is still spinning and my heart overwhelmed.  I want Mark to focus on his treatments and I need him to step away from work and not worry about the lack of money.  I work hard, but as Mark's primary caregiver, I am unable to work at times.  The doctor visits and transportation take a lot of time and the costs have exceeded what we have.

<div>I have set up this GoFundMe account to help Mark and I with medical and living expenses.  It's a hard thing to do, asking for help.  If you are able to donate anything at all, Mark and I would be extremely grateful.  I will continue to give updates as often as i can on how Mark is doing.
