<div>Nunca imaginé tener que escribir algo así, pero hoy me atrevo, con el corazón en la mano y toda la sinceridad del mundo, a pedir ayuda.

<div>Soy madre soltera, inmigrante venezolana, y hace cuatro años llegué a Estados Unidos con mi hijo buscando un futuro mejor. He trabajado con esfuerzo, amor y dignidad para sacarlo adelante, como muchas mujeres valientes que luchamos solas.

<div>En enero de 2025 me hice unos chequeos médicos y, tras varios exámenes, el 16 de abril recibí un diagnóstico que cambió mi vida: cáncer de mama derecha (carcinoma ductal invasivo y carcinoma ductal insitu).

<div>Luego de una resonancia, detectaron una lesión adicional detrás de la prótesis. Comencé quimioterapia el 29 de mayo. Aún me faltan 5 sesiones, y después vendrán una mastectomía y radioterapia, ya que mi diagnóstico es HER2 positivo.

<div>Este tratamiento me ha dejado sin energía y sin posibilidad de trabajar. Físicamente, emocionalmente y económicamente, el camino es muy duro.

</div>

<div>Me cuesta mucho pedir, pero hoy necesito ayuda. Quiero seguir viva para mi hijo, quiero seguir luchando.

<div>Hello, my name is Marisol Uribe Diez.

<div>I never imagined I’d have to write something like this, but today, with all my heart and sincerity, I am asking for help.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m a single mother, an immigrant from Venezuela, and I arrived in the United States four years ago with my son, chasing a better future. I’ve worked hard and with dignity, without rest—like so many brave women who raise their children alone—with love, perseverance, and strong values to lead by example.

</div>

<div>In January 2025, I finally decided to get a medical check-up. After many tests, studies, and a biopsy, on April 16 I received life-changing news: I was diagnosed with right breast cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Ductal Carcinoma In Situ).

</div>

<div>A subsequent MRI revealed an additional lesion behind the implant. I was advised to begin chemotherapy immediately, which I started on May 29. I have five more sessions to go, spaced 21 days apart. These treatments have taken a toll on my energy, my strength—and sadly, my ability to keep working.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After chemotherapy, I will face a mastectomy, followed by radiation therapy, since the cancer is HER2-positive. The road ahead is long—physically, emotionally, and financially.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help… I’ve always tried to get by on my own. But this time, I can’t. This time, I truly need support. Not out of pride, but because reality demands it. I want to stay alive for my son. I want to keep fighting.

</div>
