<div>I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes to be able to support my cousin <strong>Mario Encinas Jr.</strong> and his family. Recently, our family received devastating news that my cousin, Mario, was diagnosed with stomach cancer at 26 years old.

<div>On May 5th, 2025, an EDG (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy) was done, and doctors discovered a gastric mass that was sent to Mayo Clinic for consultation.

<div>On May 9th, 2025, results were received but did not confirm cancer. Due to the low number of cells in the sample taken, further testing was required to give a definite diagnosis.

<div>This week, we received confirmation that the gastric mass is cancerous.

</div>

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, Mario is unable to work due to symptoms, procedures, medications, and long hospital stays. This has led his girlfriend of many years to become the sole provider for their household. Close family and friends know Mario is hardworking and has a very close relationship with his coworkers. Being out of work has caused an immense financial burden.

<div>The road ahead is overwhelming, but we know Mario is strong, and we are all right beside him. That’s why we’re turning to our friends, family, and community—<strong>any support, big or small, will make a difference.</strong> Even taking the time to read and share this post.
