<div> Here at the end of September 2026, Marie Gunias has received one of the most dreadful diagnoses a woman can face: a rare form of breast cancer. Marie is an independent business owner, and a homeschooling mother, and anyone who knows her knows how much she pours into the people around her. Her gentle soul is a joy to be around, and she has spent years caring for others with love, faith, and quiet strength. Now, Marie is facing a long road filled with oncology appointments, chemotherapy, invasive treatments, and surgery still ahead. She is already carrying more than $7,000 in medical debt from labs and treatments alone, and she is also pursuing holistic treatments alongside conventional medicine.

<div> Because Marie does not have paid sick leave, time away from work during treatment means lost income for her household. Funds raised will help support Marie and her son Josh with daily living needs, ongoing medical costs, and the financial strain that will continue as appointments and treatments unfold over time. Predictable support through recurring donations can help Marie keep up with these continuing needs month after month while she focuses on her health and her family. One-time gifts are also deeply appreciated and will make an immediate difference. If you are able, please consider giving to support Marie during this difficult season. If giving is not possible, prayers, encouragement, and sharing this fundraiser would mean so much as Marie begins treatment and faces the road ahead.
