Maribel Gonzalez has faced a series of unexpected challenges over the past few months. Three months ago, she was involved in a car accident that left her vehicle totaled. Just as she was beginning to regain her footing, Hurricane Helene swept through her area, claiming her new car, possessions, and her home. Maribel works at the Cardinal here in Boone, NC, to support her family, including her daughter who is expecting a baby soon. Looking toward the future, Maribel is determined to embrace the changes ahead with an open heart and a resilient spirit. She knows that her experiences will shape not only her journey but also the lives of her children. Committed to showing them that even in the face of adversity, they can rise and thrive, Maribel stands ready to tackle whatever comes next.
