I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with Maria for years. She is one of the strongest, kindest people I know, and now she needs our help.

After 11 years in remission, Maria’s Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) has sadly relapsed. On top of that, she was recently diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes severe muscle weakness, vision problems, difficulty speaking, and even episodes of paralysis.

Since her surgery on March 19, 2025, Maria has been unable to work. Unfortunately, her long-term disability insurance has delayed and denied payments, leaving her with no income. Meanwhile, medical bills, rent, and daily living expenses continue to pile up as she fights for her health and for her children.

Maria has always been a fighter, but this journey is overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your support.
