Hi, my name is Marisa. As the holidays are approaching, the last thing anyone wants to hear is that a loved one has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer! My cousin Maria Helena, 66 years old, is going through a rough time; she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and she's in the fight of her life! I know she's a fighter, having already won so many battles in life: losing her parents, becoming a widow at a young age, raising two daughters on her own, and also losing her older daughter in a tragic car accident. She's been through the wringer! But never once have I seen her cry or say, 'Why me?' Her attitude has always been that of a fighter, of perseverance, and a kind heart to everyone around her.
