<div><strong>Mi mamá, María Auxiliadora, vive en Caracas, Venezuela, y fue diagnosticada recientemente con adenocarcinoma de ovario e insuficiencia renal. </strong>Actualmente no cuenta con los recursos necesarios para cubrir los exámenes, medicamentos, tratamientos y suplementos esenciales para su recuperación.

<div><strong>Su oncólogo, el Dr. Juan Antonio Herrera, </strong>Cirujano General y Oncólogo de la Clínica Rescarven, <strong>ha recomendado realizar una cirugía por laparoscopia.</strong> Aunque aún se están evaluando las mejores opciones, es fundamental actuar lo antes posible.

<div><strong>Además, su corazón funciona actualmente solo al 30 % de su capacidad</strong>, como consecuencia de un infarto que sufrió el 23 de septiembre de 2021, lo que hace que cada decisión médica deba tomarse con el máximo cuidado.

<div><strong>A pesar de todas las dificultades, mantenemos la fe y la esperanza de que lograremos superar esta situación. </strong>Mi hermano y yo estamos haciendo todo lo posible para acompañarla en este momento tan difícil, e incluso estamos considerando la posibilidad de trasladarla a Buenos Aires, Argentina, donde resido, en caso de no reunir la totalidad de los fondos en el tiempo estimado, para que reciba la mejor atención médica posible, ya que su condición así lo amerita.

<div>Since neither  my mom's  country of residence (Venezuela)  and mine (Argentina)  are not on GoFundMe’s list of supported countries, my friend Joel has created this campaign on her behalf. He is collecting the donations on her behalf and every contribution will be used exclusively to cover my mother's medical care.

<div><strong>My mother María Auxiliadora Pietter</strong>, lives in Caracas, Venezuela, <strong>was recently diagnosed with ovarian adenocarcinoma and kidney failure.</strong> She urgently needs medical exams, medications, nutritional supplements and specialized treatment to continue fighting this disease.

<div><strong>Her oncologist, Dr. Juan Antonio Herrera,</strong> General Surgeon and Oncologist at Clínica Rescarven, located in Caracas, Venezuela,  <strong>has recommended a laparoscopic surgery. </strong> However,  we are still in the process of gathering the necessary funds to move forward as quickly as possible.

<div><strong>Her situation is even more delicate, because my mom's heart is currently functioning at only 30% capacity, </strong>as a consequence of a heart attack she suffered in September 2021. This means that  every medical decision must be taken with extreme caution to avoid additional complications.

<div><strong>Despite all these challenges, we remain faithful and hopeful that we can overcome this situation. </strong>My brother and I  are doing everything possible to be with her during this difficult time. We are even  considering transferring her to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I currently  live, if we are unable to raise the full funds in time, to ensure she receives the best medical care available.
