<div>On January 8, 2025, a devastating firestorm brought havoc upon my community of Altadena and has destroyed the place I call home. As a result of this horrific and historic weather event, my own home has been significantly affected. This house was bought by my grandparents over 55 years and is my mother’s childhood home. We are unsure of the level of damage, and my mother and I are currently displaced, and trying to determine our next steps.
