<div>Thank you for being here. We come with a heartfelt request for the support of Maggie during her brave battle against cancer. Our dear friend, sister, daughter, and partner was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This diagnosis understandably comes as an unbelievable shock and heartbreak to someone of her young age and adventurous spirit.

<div>You may know Maggie through the extraordinary work she has done for the Saco community over the past 8 years in the state legislature. She is a pillar in so many of our lives with her never-ending kindness and warmth. Maggie puts so much into every person in her life and her community and this is our time to give some of that back to her. We know that she will come out of this stronger than ever, but right now she needs our love and support behind her.

<div>While we have complete faith in her treatment plan, and the incredible doctors by Maggie's side, this will still come with extensive physical, mental, and financial stress for her. She is facing this with the utmost bravery but has a long, tough road ahead to recovery through rigorous inpatient chemo. We humbly ask that you consider donating to alleviate the financial strain this has put onto this incredible human being and her family. Any donations, large or small, will make a huge impact as we navigate Maggie’s journey through chemo and a bone marrow transplant.
