<div>Hello, my name is Madison Koberg, and I’m starting this fundraiser to help support my dad as he battles a rare and extremely aggressive form of cancer. He has been diagnosed with Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm (BPDCN) and Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML) — two very difficult and life-threatening cancers that require immediate and intensive treatment.

<div>My dad will be spending the next six months in Seattle undergoing specialized treatment that gives him the best possible chance at recovery. Unfortunately, the cost of care is overwhelming. It’s $10,000 per month just to have a bed at the treatment center, not including additional medical, travel, and living expenses while he’s there.

<div>Anyone who knows my dad knows he’s the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He’s worked hard his whole life and has always put family first. Seeing him fight through something this devastating has been incredibly hard, but we’re staying hopeful and doing everything we can to support him through it.

<div>We’re asking for help from our friends, family, and community to ease some of the financial burden during this time so my dad can focus on what matters most — healing and fighting for his life. <div>Pete has been doing chemo for two weeks now and it’s taking a real toll on him. My poor dad has lost so much weight and can’t stay warm or comfortable  watching him go from decent health to such poor health in such a short amount of time kills us. He used to wake up everyday at 5am and go hiking in the mountains even when the weather was bad and now my poor dad can’t even get out of bed.
