Hello,

My name is Maddox Moon from Troop 149, and I’m raising funds for my Eagle Scout Project, which I plan to complete this summer.

For my project, I’ll be installing mile markers along both the inner and outer trails at the South 80 in Mariemont—a community garden and trail system. These markers will greatly benefit trail users by providing clear guidance and helping people know where they are on the trails.

They’ll also assist the South 80 Committee in identifying and addressing trail maintenance needs more efficiently. For example, if a tree falls between markers 3 and 4 on the red trail, volunteers can easily pinpoint and communicate the exact location.

In addition, these markers could help first responders locate people more quickly in case of an emergency.

I estimate the total cost of the project to be around $779. Any contribution you’re able to make—big or small—would mean a lot and help bring this project to life.
