<div>We, the neighbors of the Lyn Park Neighborhood, are starting this GoFundMe page on behalf of the Jackson family who has experienced a horrific traumatizing situation. The Mom and two of her four children were the victims of a vicious attack by two dogs (pitbulls) while the children were playing in their own backyard. The dogs came from the house next door to them. When the Mom saw the dogs and heard the screams of her children, she instinctively ran into the yard to aid and protect her children. The dogs immediately began attacking the mother as she tried to get her children to safety. When she realized they couldn't all get away from the dogs, she sent her 8yr old son for help while she fought off the dogs using her own body as a shield, laying on top of her 3yr old young child protecting him from as many of the bites as possible while the dogs repeatedly tore flesh from her arms and leg before another neighbor was able to arrived to fight the dogs off of the Mom and the toddler. This family will need as much financial help as possible as they start a very difficult and long road to recovery which will include insurmountable medical bills, legal representative/fees, PTSD therapy and a possible prosthetic for the Mom depending on the outcome of several predicted surgeries.
