Support Luqman in Court

Luqman is going to court again on Friday 23rd August 2019 to argue for his right to stay in the UK.
Like last time, we need to get as many of Luqman's supporters as possible to the hearing in London.
We are collecting essential funds for the following:
- £500 to pay for Luqman's barrister, who will be arguing his case.
- £350 so that we can provide transport from Brighton to London for people who would not otherwise be able to get there.
As Luqman explained earlier this year: "I hope we are able to repeat this strategy again, because it really worked when we went to court.
"I just want to thank people for their generosity and hope they can carry on supporting when the time comes, when we reach out to them."

BACKGROUND INFO
Luqman Onikosi came to the UK to study at the University of Sussex in 2007.
In the middle of his degree course, he became ill. He was diagnosed with Hepatitis B, which has led to a chronic liver condition. Luqman's two brothers in Nigeria have since died from the same disease.
Luqman and his friends in Brighton and across the UK are campaigning for him to be allowed to stay in the country. Britain is where his friends are and where he can find the medical care he needs to live with his condition. If he is forced to return to Nigeria it is likely he will face the same fate as his siblings.
In January 2018 the Home Office rejected Luqman's application for leave to remain in the UK. But thanks to many generous supporters, Luqman has lawyers to represent him and they have won the right to appeal against the decision.
This means Luqman can take his case to the immigration tribunal. He has received Legal Aid to cover some of the costs. But important parts of the case - under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights - do not qualify.
