<div>We are reaching out on behalf of Luis<strong> </strong>Reyes, who suffered a traumatic injury while Bull Riding, Friday night, at the Eagle County Fairgrounds.

<div>During the event, Luis was struck on the right side of his head by a bull, resulting in severe injuries including:
</div>

</div>
<div>A skull fracture
</div>
<div>A clavicle fracture
</div>
<div>Multiple mastoid bone fractures (located behind the ear, crucial for hearing and balance)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After the incident, Luis was initially taken to Valley View Hospital and despite the seriousness of his injuries, was discharged that same night. Due to the worsening of his condition, he was hospitalized again in Vail Health and later transferred to University of Colorado Hospital where he is now receiving the intensive care he needs.

<div>Luis will then need to be transferred to a rehab facility where he will continue to recuperate and receive the care he needs. Costs for rehab are very high at an approximate daily fee of $1500 per day.

<div>Anyone who knows Luis knows how deeply he cares for his community. He’s the kind of person who shows up for others. Now, Luis needs us.
