Lucas is raising funds to support his mom, who is currently undergoing treatment for vulvar cancer. Since April, his mom has faced two surgeries and three hospital stays, with complications that have made her recovery much longer and more difficult than expected. As a result, she is unable to work, and the family has fallen behind on the rent. Lucas accompanies his mom to all of her doctor's appointments and is doing his best to help. The stress of managing daily expenses like groceries and transportation, on top of the emotional and physical toll of cancer treatment, has been overwhelming for both Lucas and his mom. Additionally, it has become difficult for her to provide for her pets. Daisy, her golden doodle, and her two cats are a source of comfort to her, and she is worried that she may have to give them up. 
 
Throughout her life, Lucas’s mom has always been the one to care for others and lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need. Asking for help is not easy for her, but the current situation has made it necessary. The funds raised will go directly toward covering essential household bills and expenses, ensuring that Lucas and his mom can focus on her recovery without the added worry of financial hardship.
