<div>Kristen Greiner-Samuels has spent her life running toward emergencies — not away from them. A proud Fire Lieutenant with the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue, Kristen has dedicated over 15 years to protecting and serving our communities. She began her fire service career in New York before joining Prince William County, where she’s spent the last 11 years answering the call without hesitation.

She has trained and shaped the next generation of first responders, leading new recruits through the fire academy and helping them build the courage, heart, and skill it takes to serve. Wherever she has been assigned — whether on the engine or at the academy — Kristen has always stepped up where she was needed most.

<div>She has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. Tragically, this form of cancer is not covered under the Firefighter Cancer Presumption Act — meaning many of the costs associated with her treatment will fall directly on her shoulders.
