<div>Layla is a vampire. She’s been a 20-year-old girl for more than 100 years, and she has never missed a party.

</div>

<div>She can’t. They’re her favorite place for dinner.

</div>

<div>Layla has never minded eating humans, but her social nature has led to an unfortunate consequence: people—human people—want to be her friends.

</div>

<div>Now she has to grapple with a question she’d never thought she’d have to answer: once she gets too comfortable having friends, what happen’s when they’re all gone?

</div>

<div>It’s dramatic, campy, sweet, and sour. Full of color and flashing lights, this film tells the story we’re all familiar with: what happens when someone takes advantage of those around them for too long? Can they change their ways for someone they care about? Or is selfishness all-consuming, and sooner or later will bite them back?

<div>Where is the money going?

<div>While our setup is relatively simple, there are a few critical items we need help with.

<div>The $500 goal will cover:

<div>Craft services/snacks for our 17 cast and crew members, as well as several extras (40%)

<div>Renting a shooting location (40%)

<div>Special effects materials and production design (%25)

<div>I will be paying for many of our expenses out of pocket, as this is a very important project for me, which I truly wish to be realized. These donations would help cover the things I cannot afford on my own, and help my team and I create the best film we can.

<div>This project has been in the works for a very long time, and finally getting to step into production has been a dream come true for me.

</div>

<div>This is not only a class project, but a massive portfolio piece that would show off the strengths of every member in the cast and crew. I wanted to push myself with a project that relied heavily on the visual design, and not just the script.

</div>

<div>“Love Bites!” is colorful, gory, and dressed to the nines. Unfortunately, that can get expensive.
