<div>My name is Lotus. I recently moved from the UK to New York after being accepted into The New School to pursue my Master’s in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship. This move isn’t just about education — it’s also about chasing my artist dreams and building a future where I can create, perform, and bloom. I am beyond grateful to have received scholarships and grants that will cover my tuition and rent during my studies.

<div>However, <strong>I’m in urgent need of support to bridge the gap until my financial aid is paid out.</strong> Although I informed the housing office about my situation back in July, I was only told last week that emergency housing has been paused. This has left me without a place to stay as I begin classes. I am currently staying with family friends over four hours away, but commuting is not sustainable —  because of the cost of travel and I have classes every day.

<div>Since I am completely independent and have no family in the U.S. that I can rely on, I am seeking help to cover:
