Help Support Lori’s Fight and Recovery
Over the last couple of weeks, what seemed like a simple stomach virus turned into something none of us could have imagined. Lori was admitted to the hospital after struggling to keep food or water down for nearly a week and experiencing intense pain. After a series of scans and tests, doctors discovered that Lori has cancer throughout her body. While we’re still waiting on a final diagnosis to determine the exact type and treatment plan, it’s clear that she has a long road ahead.
While in the hospital, Lori also suffered a stroke that has left her without use of her left side. She will require weeks—if not months—of intensive inpatient rehabilitation to regain as much independence as possible.
Lori is navigating this season without significant financial resources, making it difficult to manage both her daily expenses and the mounting medical costs ahead. As she begins this difficult journey, she will need help covering basic living expenses like rent, utilities, and her car payment, as well as the many costs that come with ongoing medical treatment and recovery.
Lori is deeply loved by her daughters, friends, coworkers, and everyone who knows her. She has always been strong, kind, funny, and full of warmth and joy — and now she needs our help to carry her through this season.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help relieve the financial burden and allow Lori to focus fully on her healing. Every gift, big or small, makes a difference.
Most of all, we ask for your continued prayers for Lori’s strength, comfort, and recovery. Thank you for standing with our family during this incredibly challenging time.
With love and gratitude,
