I am heartbroken to share the story of Reina, our nanny Lorena's only daughter, who welcomed her baby girl, Alohra Gabriella Bazaldua, into the world on November 14, 2024. Due to complications that required an emergency C-section, Alohra was born without a heartbeat and needed 20 minutes of resuscitation before a heartbeat was established. Tragically, brain activity was never established and on Wednesday, November 20th surrounded by her loving parents, Alohra went home to heaven.

As her parents navigate this unimaginable situation, they face overwhelming and unplanned medical and funeral expenses.
