<div>This is for my sister, <strong>Lora Gevas</strong>. She is currently fighting for her life in Billings, Montana. She was life-flighted from her town in Thermopolis, Wyoming after a sudden and devastating medical emergency that was brought on after her throid shutdown and caused a major thyroid storm. During her flight, her heart stopped, and for 30 minutes, the medical team performed CPR and life-saving measures while in the air. They made an emergency stop in Cody, Wyoming to stabilize her before continuing on to Billings.

<div>Lora is now on ECMO (heart bypass and life support) and a ventilator. She has been in the ICU since Thursday, July 17th, and we don't know how long she will need to be there at this time.

<div>This has been an unimaginable emotional and financial burden for her family. Lora is married to Ryan, and they have 3 children who all love her and want her to recover fully. If you know Lora, you know she is an energetic and loving person. She is always serving others and making sure those around her are taken care of.
