Lopez Original Theater is embarking on its inaugural production, November 22-24, featuring eight short plays written by playwrights from the Salish Sea region.

Help us support them!

For example, playwrights need pencils with good erasers. Too many of them out there have those kinds of erasers that make the paper rip or darken it beyond legibility.

Donate $5 and our playwrights get those "kind of useful" pencils.

Donate $10 and they get the ones that can erase their (rare?) mistakes.

Donate $50 or more and we will use those funds to pay a playwright royalties for use of their work - encouraging them to write more plays and pursue their dreams!

Other funding for playwrights visiting from off-island:

- $20 - a few cups of coffee to fuel that midnight creative spark

- $40 - a nice thermos to keep it hot

- $60 - a ferry ride to come watch the fest

- $80 - a meal for them and a loved one

- $100 - transportation costs to get here

- $200 - $500 - lodging costs for playwrights visiting Lopez during the rehearsal process or during a performance
