<div>Hello everyone, my name is Bethany and I am the aunt of <strong>Locklynn</strong>. I’m creating this GoFundMe with permission from Locklynn’s parents, Haley and Brad.

<div>Locklynn is 4 years old, a strong-willed, feisty little girl with so much life in her. She’s always so happy and lovable, and everything has to be her way. Locklynn tested positive for flu A on Friday the 21st, and on the morning of Monday, February 24, the unthinkable happened. Locklynn collapsed getting up to use the restroom around 4 am and went unresponsive. Her mom did CPR with the help of Brad's sister while her dad rushed her to the hospital. Upon entering the hospital in Chillicothe, Locklynn had coded and went into cardiac arrest, a parent's worst fear hearing a flat line on the hospital’s machines. The hospital worked on her and finally got her heart beating after a couple of minutes, which felt like a lifetime to Haley and Brad. Adena got her on a vent and immediately called for life flight, where she was then life-flighted to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

<div>Due to the results of all this, Locklynn is in a coma fighting for her life on life support. At this time, we have no answers yet, and she still has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

<div>We are asking for prayers and any type of donations possible to help ease the mind of Haley and Brad with bills while out of work and at the hospital away from home and their other children while focused on their baby girl, Locklynn.

<div>Hi everyone I wanted to share an update on locklynns condition. Yesterday on Thursday February 27, 2025 we received horrible news,
</div>
<div>Locklynns MRI results have come back, unfortunately due to the cardiac arrest, when she stopped breathing her Brain stopped receiving oxygen and due to this locklynn has a severe deep brain injury that will affect her for the rest of her life. We where told she would never walk again , she would never be able to eat on her own again, never be able to talk again never be able to play again with her sisters, Brother or cousins, that the locklynn we once knew is no longer, that we would have to adapt to new things and new ways for her.

<div>she still has a long road of recovery to be able to get stable to even be able to leave the hospital and come home.
</div>
<div>We have updated the goal so Haley and Brad can have extra funds to make their house wheelchair accessible, and also be able to get a wheelchair accessible vehicle, along with other medical equipment that’s going to be needed.
</div>
<div>Again we are still asking for prayers and any donations possible to help ease the mind of Haley and Brad durning this difficult time.

<div>Locklynn is awake ! Praise god ! Childrens is planning on removing the vent today. She still has a long road of recovery ahead of her due to motor skill functions from the brain injury. We appreciate all the love and support we are receiving while the community rallies together for locklynn and her parents.

<div>Locklynns vent has finally been removed as of today she is breathing on her own . She is still awake but with many struggles ahead of her to a full road of recovery, we still have no expected discharge date as of now. We continue to thank the community who has rallied together for locklynn and her parents. Again any prayers and donations are appreciated while Brad and Haley figure out the new way of life for their now disabled daughter. While they prepare their home to be wheelchair accessible and figure out how to get a wheel chair accessible van .

<div>They have changed some medication around in hopes for a better fit for locklynn and have reduced the sedation medication to take her off of medical induced coma, she is now awake again. They are planning to retry tomorrow to take her off of the ventilator again. We continue to ask for prayers for locklynn durning this time.

<div>Hi guys ! Locklynn is still awake and has been off the ventilator for more than 48 hours now! 
</div>
<div>She currently is still in picu and will remain there until they’re comfortable transitioning her to step down , which we are hopeful we’ll be after this weekend, so sometime next week. Although locklynn can’t talk we’ve noticed she is able to make some noises , she is able to move both her arms together and separately. She continues to receive therapy , she finally got out of bed for the first time last week so mom and dad could hold her , and this past Thursday they did a trail error with a wheelchair so they could make adjustments and accommodations for the perfect wheelchair for locklynn. We are hopeful to bring her home soon ! While the hospital has been caring for locklynn , mom and dad have been busy trying to get their home wheelchair accessible for their daughter. We continue to ask for prayers and any donations still possible as home renovations and wheelchair accessible items are quite costly when trying to prepare quickly for a life changing event.

<div>Locklynn has officially moved to step down and has been off the ventilator for several days now and maintaining her oxygen! She got her rental wheelchair yesterday that she can use until her personalized chair is ready,

<div>So far we have noticed that locklynn is capable of moving both her arms together and separately, she is making some noises but unable to talk. She is still on her tube feed , we’re hopeful she can come home soon, but that’s still not decided yet, locklynn has been receiving therapy while in the hospital.

<div>hi everyone wanted to give an update on locklynn we’re are anticipating locklynn to be discharged and back home within the next week or so ! Exciting news !!! They’ve changed her meds around to best benefit locklynn needs . Her surgery went well for her tube feed. As Haley and Brad are rushing to continue preparing for their daughter to come home if you’re able to donate anything for them to finish the remodeling of their home it would be greatly appreciated, again we appreciate all the love and support we’ve received from the community!
