<div>Our close friend Ljiljana has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. We are starting this fundraiser to ease some of the stress from the financial burden of treatment on her.
</div>
<div>Her cancer is in the upper right lung, and lower
</div>
<div>left lung, also two lymph nodes in the chest. It surrounds whole plural area of the right one, and almost entirely of the left one.
</div>
<div>She also has a cracked 9th rib due to metastasis to the bones.
</div>
<div>This is Ljiljana’s third round of cancer. She has been diagnosed for the first time in 2012 at age 38. Second time in 2015. Now this November she received the heavy-hitting and unexpected news as it being the third time.
</div>

<div>Ljiljana has received her share of grief. After battling breast cancer a few years back, she also lost her beloved husband to colon cancer.
</div>

</div>
<div>Ljiljana works for Wintrust bank as a teller supervisor, and is 2023’s Bob Key award winner.
</div>
<div>She also worked for Trader Joe’s for 9 years &amp; became like family to many who knew her. She is a devoted Mom &amp; Grandmother.
</div>

<div>Ljiljana has always been one of the kindest and most uplifting people we know, making the world a better place through her constant care and beautiful personality. Now, it’s our turn to return the favor and support her through this incredibly difficult and uncertain time.
</div>
<div>Cancer is a brutal and unforgiving disease, and Ljiljana’s diagnosis has been emotionally and financially overwhelming.
</div>
