<div>On July 26th, 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 2 aggressive breast cancer that spread to my lymph nodes. Before this dreadful news, I worked as a caregiver for Alzheimer patients, giving respite to family members who take daily care of this suffering from this awful disease. After seeing my own family member suffering from Alzheimer's, I get even more satisfaction from helping these families! I truly love my job and miss it more than I can express.

<div>On August 31st, I started 6 months of the most intensive chemotherapy, combined with extremely painful injections to boost my white blood cell through the bone marrow. On January 9th, 2024, I underwent surgery for a partial mastectomy and removal of all lymph nodes. The next step is 4 weeks of radiation.

<div>My life changed dramatically, both physically as well as the tremendous financial burden this disease has caused me.

<div>I am truly blessed to have good friends and family that try to help me as they can, but at this point, I just need more financial help.
