My name is Lisa, and I’m a chronically ill mama of two beautiful daughters. Since I became sick in 2022, God has faithfully sustained our family through love, grace, and the incredible strength of my husband, who has carried the weight of providing for us alone.

We were raised to work hard and take care of our own, so we’ve quietly fought this battle with only the help of close family. But now, it’s clear—we can no longer do this alone.

I suffer from many ailments, but the most substantial one is that I’ve been diagnosed with Neuro Behçet’s, a rare and painful autoimmune disease that affects my nervous system. After months of struggling, I finally have a treatment plan that’s helping me reclaim my strength. But with that hope comes overwhelming medical expenses—infusions, procedures, and medications that are not fully covered and must be paid out of pocket.

Despite our best efforts, the financial burden is now too great. Monthly treatments are critical for my well-being and ability to be present for my daughters—but we simply can’t afford to continue without help.
