First of all I would like to thank you for visiting this page; it means a lot to us! Many of you know and love Lisa Jones very dearly. Some of you find yourself here because a friend or family member asked if you had a moment to take a look at this web page. We are asking if you could help us support Lisa in any amount you are willing and able to. One of the most humbling things one can do in life is to reach out and ask for financial help.
Lisa is a woman of faith who loves God with all her heart. She is a wonderful wife and a loving mother of 5 children. She has devoted her time to home-schooling her children for most of their school age years and now has one left to graduate. Lisa also spends most her time caring for her eldest Leah, who has Turrets Syndrome.
About 2 years ago Lisa was told by her doctor that there is a strong suspicion of breast cancer in her left breast. Due to no medical insurance and lack of finances she was unable to get further testing done. Recently the pain got worse and the cancerous tumor erupted, and she was officially diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. The doctors are also now questioning a spot on her hip that could mean that the breast cancer has possibly metastasized. If this is confirmed then the diagnosis will be elevated to Stage 4 cancer. We are all hoping and praying that it has not spread.
So things get a little tricky with treating the cancer because Lisa's body often has adverse reactions to the drugs and testing. Her long time history of heart complications also poses a problem in undergoing conventional treatment for the cancer. The doctors are saying that surgery is not an option at this time due to her heart condition and because the tumors are too large it makes surgery extremely risky. However, she has found a hospital that can treat the cancer while supporting her immune function and heart problem all while undergoing cancer treatment. The biggest obstacle keeping her from getting this treatment is strictly financial.
In closing, we first and foremost ask God for his healing touch on Lisa. We trust that no matter what lies ahead of her God is with her. We also want to express our gratitude to all of you for your support.
