<div>To know Lisa Perkins is to love her. She is one of the most beautiful humans, inside and out. Lisa has been my person, my best friend, my “if we aren’t married by 40, we will be lifers together”. She is one of the most selfless people I know, with the best heart, who loves all of her people fiercely.

<div>On April 11, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Inflammatory Breast Cancer - her type is the most aggressive and most rare form. Lisa has named her cancer after her most hated book character, Lionel. Lionel has invaded her lymphnodes, spine, liver, bones, and brain. She is undergoing multiple types of chemotherapy and brain radiation. Lisa will require one type of chemotherapy for the rest of her life.

<div>Lisa has already endured multiple hospitalizations, an extended ICU stay, and invasive surgeries. She is blessed to have her mom Sally, fiancé Nate, and so many friends by her side. While we are so thankful for her oncologist, Dr. Cherian, and other doctors at The James, thousands of dollars in medical bills are piling up. As you can imagine, the cost of continued treatment puts a whole other level of strain and stress on an already difficult (for lack of a better word) time. This is going to be an extremely long and tough road ahead.

<div>Lisa works her ass off and asks for nothing in return. So the rest of us are asking for your support to help alleviate the financial burden for her and her family so she can focus on her fight.
