Lisa and Paul Platt are the kind of family who welcome anyone into their home with open arms. Lisa is a giving, outgoing person who loves being around her family, always ready to help others and make everyone feel cared for. Paul is the uncle everyone loves—his sense of humor is unique, and while he may not show his affection in the usual ways, his love for those around him is clear to everyone who knows him.

 Paul’s symptoms began with numbness in his hand, which turned out to be an early sign of a serious stroke. He was quickly life-flighted to Jacksonville, and after arriving at the hospital, he lost vision on his right side. Now, he’s preparing for life-saving surgery, and the outcome is still unknown. Every day brings new challenges and uncertainty. Lisa has had to stop working so she can stay at the hospital, talk to doctors, and be there for Paul as he faces this critical moment. The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming, and they’re trying to function while not knowing what the future holds.

 Right now, Lisa and Paul need help to get through this difficult time. Donations will help Lisa cover bills, buy meals while she’s at the hospital, and keep their home running while she’s unable to work.
