For many years, Lisa LaRose has been a beloved first-grade teacher in the Scituate community, touching the lives of countless children and families with kindness, patience, and dedication. Now, Lisa and her family are facing an unimaginable heartbreak following the tragic loss of Lisa’s son, Douglas. So many of us have wondered what we can possibly do to help during such a devastating time. While there are no words that can ease this kind of loss, we can come together as a community to surround Lisa and her family with love and help lessen some of the practical and financial burdens they may face in the weeks and months ahead. 
 
 
 Funds raised will help support the family with funeral and memorial expenses, time away from work, meals, household needs, and other unexpected expenses as they grieve and begin to navigate life after this tremendous loss.
