<div>A dear friend of ours is in the hospital right now, facing a life-or-death situation. He has five 100% blocked arteries in his heart and urgently needs a quadruple bypass surgery. The doctors have made it clear—this surgery is not optional if he wants to live.

<div>Right now, a wonderful friend, Anita, is caring for his dogs. But without a stable home, without income, and without help, their future—and his—is uncertain. He’s not asking for sympathy. He’s not even asking for money. But the truth is: he needs both.

<div>If he’s sent home before surgery can be scheduled, he won’t be able to care for himself—let alone his dogs. And if the lights go off, the water stops running, or he can’t pay for his medications or follow-up appointments, things could unravel quickly.
