Lilia Ibarra Chaires, de 50 años, residente de Thomasville, falleció el martes 26 de agosto de 2025 en su hogar. Nació el 20 de septiembre de 1974 en la Ciudad de México, hija de Juana Chaires Herrera y Crispín Ibarra García. Lilia emigró de México a Thomasville hace más de 20 años. Durante estos años, su pasión por la Zumba conmovió a innumerables personas de su comunidad. Fue la primera instructora de Zumba en la comunidad hispana de Thomasville. Su energía y sonrisa iluminaban cualquier lugar al que entrara. Colaboró ​​con numerosos Zumbatones para recaudar fondos para personas necesitadas. Uno de sus mayores logros en la vida fue ser una madre dedicada a su hija y una amiga fiel.

El velatorio se realizará el viernes 29 de agosto de 2025, de 16:00 a 20:00 h, en la Funeraria JC Green & Sons de Thomasville.

Mrs. Lilia Ibarra Chaires, 50, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 20, 1974 in Mexico City to her parents, Juana Chaires Herrera and Crispin Ibarra Garcia. Lilia immigrated from Mexico to Thomasville over 20 years ago. Over the next several years she would touch countless people in her community through her love for Zumba. She was the first Zumba instructor among the Hispanic community in Thomasville. Her energy and smile would light up any room she walked into. She helped with numerous Zumbatons to help raise money for people in need. One of her biggest accomplishments in life was being a dedicated mother to her daughter and a faithful friend.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville.
