Liaym has been nominated to represent his school, Bluff City Elementary, at the National Youth Leadership Forum Pathways to STEM. He was personally selected by one of his previous teachers, Mrs. Christy Dixon. Anyone that knows Liaym, or spends ten minutes with him, knows he is an old soul. This program is right up his alley. It is a hands-on experience where he will work with others through communication, collaborating on new ideas, to critical thinking on new project builds. He will be able to work alongside a hand-selected group of young peers like himself. Being able to attend this program will help Liaym learn new skills that he can take with him throughout life. It is a week-long program, where he will be housed at a selected college. We are so thankful that he was selected for this opportunity, and hope to get him there. He would attend this program this summer, but the payment is due the first week of February. With that being said, we are asking for help raising funds. Any amount helps towards him reaching his goal and getting to attend this program.
