<div>On September 6, we got the news that no parent, friend, or loved one imagined they would hear - Lexi (26) was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma. While this type of thyroid cancer is fairly common, and Lexi’s prognosis is promising, her journey involves multiple treatments; including surgery, radioactive iodine therapy, and lifelong medication.

<div>Lexi’s passion for medicine and helping others led her to graduate from her chiropractic program at Northwestern Health Sciences University this past spring. While she is eager to fully dive in to practicing medicine and living her life as a young woman, this process does not come without physical, mental, and financial challenges.

<div>Lexi has been a constant source of light and a shoulder to lean on for her family and friends, but she can not do this alone. We are coming together to raise $15,000, in hopes of alleviating the stress and financial burden of expenses that are not covered by insurance.
