<div>Our lovely Lexie had an accident at work resulting in emergency surgery. She is being transferred to Harborview Medical in Seattle where she will undergo another surgery. This unfortunate situation will leave Lex unable to work but with cost of medical bills and treatment, not to mention living expenses and lost wages, we want Lexie to focus on resting and recovering without the financial stress. This girl is so strong and loving and deserves to know how much this community cares about her. Monetary donations are not the only gift you can offer. Messages of encouragement, healing vibes, and prayers are just as valuable! Updates will be made when Lexie and her family are ready to share more. Thank you!

<div>Update: Lexie and her family would like to start by saying a great big thank you to those who have donated, called, texted, sent up prayers and well wishes.

<div>After being involved in a work related accident on Friday August 9th Lexie was transported to Kootenai Health in Coeur D Alene where she underwent emergency surgery. During this surgery Lexie lost the three middle fingers of her right hand. She was flown to Harborview medical center on Saturday where she underwent an additional surgery. During this surgery Doctors were able to reattached the severed tendons and nerves in her thumb and pinkie.

<div>Lexie has since been able to return to CDA where she is beginning the process of healing and adapting to life changes. She will be returning to Seattle several times over the next few weeks for additional procedures and an additional surgery.
