<div>On Monday, 27th October 2025, Lewis’s and his family’s lives changed forever. What started as an ordinary afternoon, popping into Sainsbury’s in Bromley Cross to buy a lottery ticket after lunch with his wife and daughters during half term, turned into an unimaginable tragedy.

<div>This heartbreaking incident has touched so many in our community. Countless people have asked how they can help or show their support and this page is our way of doing just that.

<div>Lewis has been in a coma for over a week and remains in critical care. While we won’t share details of his injuries at this stage, we know that his recovery will be a long and difficult road, with life-changing challenges ahead.

<div>His amazing wife Sarah, their girls, close family and friends have been by his side every step of the way, showing unimaginable strength through this horrific time. Sadly, both Lewis and Sarah are unable to work for the foreseeable future, and their focus must be entirely on Lewis’s recovery and their family’s wellbeing.
