<div>While they were working in Minnesota a few weeks ago, Leon suffered a spinal cord injury that has left his back legs paralyzed.

<div>Leon spent a week in the neurology hospital and undergoing countless tests, procedures and imaging. They monitored him and make sure the paralysis did not spread.
</div>

<div>Unfortunately, he is not out of the woods yet. He requires 24-hour care, medical equipment, and incontinence supplies. He remains at risk of losing all mobility, and vets recently found a mass in his mouth that will require further testing.

<div>As pet owners know, our animals are family—especially during major life transitions like moving to a new state. With Katie's permission, I have set up a GoFundMe page to help them cover these rapidly mounting vet bills.
