Support for Leonor Diaz Quiroz: Sudden Covid-19-related loss of her husband, Valentin Quiroz. Medical, funeral, family support and expenses.
Dear friends, please consider supporting Leonor Diaz Quiroz during this difficult time. Leonor’s beloved husband, Valentin Quiroz passed away in the hospital from Covid-19 on May 23, 2020.
Both Leonor and Valentin had symptoms and tested positive for Covid-19.
Leonor went into the hospital on a Friday. It was May 8th, Valentin drove her and that would be the last time they would be together.
Valentin went into the hospital the following week on Wednesday, May 13th.
Leonor was released from the hospital on Sunday, May 16th.
On Saturday, May 23rd, Valentin passed away at the hospital. Leonor was only able to say goodbye to him through a window and now due to precautions is unable to personally attend and mourn her husband at his funeral services.
As you can imagine, the loss of Valentin is a major devastation to his family. The expenses have mounted for multiple successive weeks of care for both Leonor and Valentin’s time in the hospital, various specialized treatments, plasma-treatment and ICU care.
Leonor’s faith in God is unshakable and she continues to display grace, strength and calm amidst the incredible grief bestowed upon her.
