Leon Reed is my name. I'm a member of Spark Ventures and soliciting your help and support to visit Hope School in Zambia. Spark Ventures directs human and financial resources to partners around the world to provide education, nutrition, healthcare, and jobs. The Zooming with Zambia program has given me the opportunity to connect online with students from Hope School since 2021. Hope School is located in the Township of Ndola, Zambia, an area stricken by poverty where many people live on less than one dollar a day. Nonetheless, Hope School is among the highest reading proficiency and 7th grade graduation rates in their region thanks to our online efforts. Each week, I tutor math; number base conversions and dividing with fractions to an ambitious group of seventh graders online. I'm eager to visit Hope School. It's important for me to engage face-to-face with students in Zambia and learn more about their cultural challenges, community, and country. The face-to-face experience will ensure a learning impression beyond the limitation of our online interaction. So, this year we're asking for your support and donations as I look forward to visiting Hope School in Zambia, and spending actual time with students in July 2025.
Thank you for your generous charitable contributions; your support makes a real difference towards my visit to Hope School in Zambia.
