Hey everyone! My name is Daniel Aaron Spivey, and my dad is Ronald Lee Spivey. My dad is 57 years old and self-employed. My dad has been self-employed his entire life and is currently unable to work and without insurance. He lives with me due to his medical conditions. He has been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, Emphysema, Pulmonary Hypertension, and several other heart, lung, kidney, and liver function issues. My wife and I both work in public safety and are currently footing the bill to afford his medications, oxygen, transportation to and from doctor's appointments, and every other aspect of life. We have applied for disability and Medicaid for him but are fighting an uphill battle. Any help is appreciated, not expected, but we are unable to afford all of his medications that are needed.
