Support Leana's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Many of you know "notyourhighlady" from Bookstagram. I'm reaching out today because she recently received a life-altering diagnosis of stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer in both her left and right breasts.

For those who haven't connected with her online, she is a mom to a precious 10-month-old daughter, Freya, and the sole provider for her family through her small business, BindBeyondBooks, along side a traditional 9-5. This diagnosis has thrown a lot at us, and shed is facing a mountain of challenges.

Here's the situation:

Medical Costs: Even with insurance, her double mastectomy and chemotherapy treatments aren't fully covered.

Childcare: With her upcoming treatments, she’ll need reliable childcare for Freya.

Living Expenses: On top of everything else, she recently is relocating across the country to be closer to the best possible medical care.
