After surgery, she’ll need radiation, but we won’t know the full extent of her treatment until the results come back. Lay is staying positive, but there’s a lot of uncertainty about how long her recovery will take and how radiation might affect her.

The doctors expect her to be out for at least three weeks, and it could be longer depending on her treatment. She’s worried about how she’ll cover her rent, bills, groceries, and transportation while she’s recovering. The financial stress is adding to an already difficult time.
