<div>In November 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer which had metastasized (through my lymph nodes to several areas in my body) and was considered very aggressive. My prognosis seemed grim.

<div>I immediately began treatments. I have completed 7 rounds of chemotherapy along with immunotherapy and have had a great response to treatment... Praise God!!!

</div>

<div>On August 13,2025 I had surgery to remove the remaining cancer cells along with several lymph nodes. The surgery also included reconstructive surgery due to a partial mastectomy. Having the lymph nodes removed caused the lymphedema in my right hand and arm to worsen.

<div>Since surgery, I have resumed immunotherapy treatments and in October I will begin radiation treatments. Once I complete my radiation treatments, I am scheduled to start physical therapy to address the lymphedema in my right hand and arm (my dominant side)

<div>Needless to say, my cancer journey has been a marathon and not a sprint. I have been unable to work since my diagnosis due to the many medical appointments and treatments. Prior to my diagnosis, I worked 12-hour shifts- 6 days a week. Up until now I have used my savings to cover all of my expenses. Unfortunately, I have exhausted my savings.

<div>I am launching this Go Fund Me with the hopes of covering my expenses for my expected remaining treatment period. My goal is to raise $5,000; so that, I can continue to focus on my treatment and recovery without the added stress of a financial burden.
