<div>I'm writing on behalf of my sister-in-law, Lauren Taylor-a devoted single mom, talented hairstylist, and one of the most hardworking women I know. Today, she's facing a difficult challenge and needs our help.

<div>Lauren has recently suffered a serious shoulder injury and may have a torn rotator cuff. As a self-employed hairstylist, this injury has completely stopped her ability to work. She's in significant pain and currently undergoing testing to determine the best course of treatment, which may include surgery and physical therapy.

<div>Being self-employed means Lauren doesn't have access to traditional employer benefits and sick leave. With no income coming in and bills beginning to pile up, she's under an enormous amount of pressure-not just to heal, but to keep life stable for her and her children. She is being forced to pause and focus on healing. Being the sole provider at home makes this situation feel very overwhelming. That's why we're turning to our community for support to help Lauren cover medical and living expenses during the interim until she can begin working again.
