Support Laurel House Comfort Care

Everyone deserves to spend their final days in comfort and peace. Laurel House needs your help in offering a residence where people from Wayne County can spend their final stages of life.

A comfort care home located in Newark, NY, Laurel House will provide residents hospice care at no cost in a highly supportive, warm and compassionate environment surrounded by loved ones, kind-hearted staff and volunteers who attend to their needs. Comfort care homes in the surrounding area have waiting lists demonstrating the high need for end-of-life care in our region. Volunteers have secured a building and renovations have begun. But we need your help. Building supplies are needed to continue construction of the interior. Appliances, furniture, HVAC sytem, and medical equipment are among the many items also needed. Operating funds (director, nurse, utilities, supplies) for an entire year are estimated to cost $200,000. Once the home is up and running, Laurel House will be funded through memorial donations and fundraising events.
