Help Laura Recover from Surgery

Our dear friend Laura is facing a tough and unexpected medical challenge: she requires surgery to remove a (benign) liver tumor.

This surgery is necessary for her health, and the recovery process will require about four weeks off from work. As a self-employed individual, Laura doesn’t have the luxury of paid time off or a financial safety net.

To make matters more difficult, Laura's insurance coverage is limited, and (as I’m sure you can imagine) the medical expenses are overwhelming. While she's able to stay with her parents during recovery (which is a huge help), she still needs assistance covering her medical costs and living expenses during this time.
