Supporting Patrick's Future

Hello, I'm Laura and I'm trying to raise money to get the probate process started on the estate of my oldest's father. In order for me to access any of his accounts, transfer the title of his vehicle, get his piled-up mail, and pay what debts he has left, I have to be appointed to his estate to do all of these things. Everything left after his debts are paid will be going to our son, Patrick, put into savings for his future. Trying to get this started as soon as possible. Please help any way you can, every little bit helps.

Here's more detail on how the money will be used:

INFORMAL PROBATE WITHOUT A WILL: Document preparation and filing services for Arizona Informal Probate, Maricopa County: $1,595.00. There are approximately 30-35 pages of customized court documents that have to be prepared and filed with the court – it is a process and important to understand the requirements of the court.

In addition, you will incur the following court costs (charged to you at cost, no surcharge is added to any outside fee):

Maricopa County Filing Fee: $279.00

Publication of Notice to Creditors: $100.00

Certified Copy of Letter of Appointment: $30.50 each

YOUR TOTAL COST SHOULD RUN APPROXIMATELY $2,000 DEPENDING ON HOW MANY LETTERS OF APPOINTMENT YOU END UP NEEDING

Our probate questionnaire (see link at the bottom of this email) will need to be completed and the document preparation fee is required upfront to get the process started. You don’t have to pay the court fees until the documents are finished and ready to be filed. Once we receive the completed questionnaire, we can have the documents prepared and ready for your review within 1-2 business days. Once the final documents are filed with the court, it takes 1-2 business days for approval.

Note: It is rare, but if the situation results in extraordinary document preparation or time, there could be an additional charge. However, we do not nickel and dime our clients. We are fair and would discuss such a charge with you prior to making it. I don’t see this happening, we just need to give you the information just in case.
