This is my mother, Laura Courtright. She wasn’t only my best friend, but she was also the world's greatest grandmother. There wasn’t anything in this world that she loved more than her grandbabies and shooting pool.

Unfortunately, about 2 years ago, she was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure and had to go to dialysis 3 days a week. Laura was a wonderful and cheerful soul. Unexpectedly, on Sept. 27 around 11:40 at night, her granddaughter found her on the floor unconscious and ran to get me. Once I got to her, she seemed to be having what appeared to be a seizure. After calling 911 and the paramedics arrived, they informed me that she had a massive stroke and needed to be airlifted to USA. After getting there with her, they came in and told me to call anyone who wanted to say their last goodbyes because the stroke she had suffered was so traumatic that she wouldn’t be waking up. This is the most painful and heartbreaking thing I’ve had to experience and definitely not prepared for.

So, with that being said, I am trying to raise money to bury my mother so unexpectedly. Anything helps. Thank you so much and God bless you.
