<div>As many of you know my name is Brandon, my Mother's name is Lara Hill. I am here today to tell the most heartbreaking, tragic, gut wrenching story. Most would say this sounds like a movie, or a some wild nightmare. I want to shed some light on the situation and tell a story, that unfortunately quite a few people can relate to on some degree. At the end of the day, I just want to help my Mom in any way I possibly can, here is her story.....

<div>Just shy of 9 years ago my Mother had dealt with some very traumatic incidents and didn't know where to turn to talk about said issues as I was only 18 at the time she didn't want to burden me as her son in high school with her problems. She met this gentleman named Kurt Hill (As most of you reading this are probably familiar with). For the next upcoming years everything was fine, they started dating, proceeded to get married, and we picked up and moved our family away from Montana and back to the East Coast to help take care of her parents. I would like to clarify something never quite sat right with me about him, along with my peers and other family members. But we overlooked it as my mother who deserved it so much, seemed to be happy.

<div>Roughly around 3 years ago now, Kurt started talking about how one of his parents had passed away and that there was going to be an inheritance that he would need to take care of. I won't dive into specifics but anyone who knew of the situation knew that it damn near sounded wayyyyyy to good to be true. But because I have always wanted the best for my Mother I figured this could potentially be the best thing that could have happened for her as she deserves the world and then some.

<div>Roughly a year in, I started to notice some things that weren't adding up but I kept my mouth shut just for the hopes that it was true for my mothers sake. Here comes year 2...... Kurt always exclaimed that there was an issue with something, whether it be one of his siblings were fighting for more, lawyer being busy... you name it there was an excuse...

<div>Summer of 2023, the "attorney" (more on that in a minute) stated that for all intensive purposes my Mother should sell her house, and move out to California to prepare for funds to be sent out and settled. Bare in mind this house was in-fact my grandparents house for 20+ years..... so much sentimental value, I didn't jive with the idea. But sure enough, my mom ended up selling the house because in her eyes everything was going to be okay. The lawyer said it was the right thing to do so we do it right? Yeah no.....

<div>Turns out about 2 months being in California I got tired of all these excuses, the lies, things not adding up. So I went ahead and did some digging, and oh boy did I discover a doozy. NOT ONLY is there no attorney.... NOT ONLY was the whole story of this inheritance a lie, he had manipulated and weaseled more than just my family to move out to California for this manifestation from a sociopath.

<div>I think I can spare any of the super gory details, but I will say at the end of the day, he has sucked my mother dry of every last penny I.e 401k, a failed attempt of a personal car business he started and left her with, the lost of her parents house, and almost every dollar in her bank account. Currently fighting to figure out how she is going to live, take care of her mother, and my 17 year old brother AND how to get out of California. She is on the verge of losing everything financially, and I just wanted to take the time to put this up for my Mother in hopes I can get her some help, and get her back home here to the east coast.

I wanted to keep from posting this till after Christmas and the New year. At the end of the day, nobody owes us anything, but I know my mom, and I know she has touched the heart of everyone she has ever come in contact with. So please, even if you can't donate please share this... She isn't the only one affected by Kurt Hill's psychotic behavior, I just want to get her the help she deserves.
